Description
This 3 day course follows the Pre Hospital Emergency Care Council (Phecc) Guidelines, but it is customized to Paediatric situations. The Objective is to enable a person involved with young children to identify a paediatric emergency, respond to the situation and administer first aid. The course is open to anyone who is wishing to become a Paediatric First Aid Responder. There are no prior entry requirements for this course.

- Incident Procedure.
- Common Paediatric Medical Emergencies.
- Paediatric CPR.
Day 2 :
- Injury Management.
- Care of the unconscious patient.
- Burns & Electrical Injury.
- Hyopthermia & Hyperthermia.
- Information Management.
- Communications.
- Well being of the First Aid Responder.
Day 3 :
- Revision for Exam.
- Exam.
- Practical Role Play Revision.
- Practical Assessments.
