The NEBOSH International Diploma is an excellent and highly-respected qualification, which is one of the foremost Health and Safety qualifications available. The course covers health and safety management, hazardous agents, and work equipment.The course is an excellent follow up to the NEBOSH certificate.
The NEBOSH International Diploma meets the requirements to apply for graduate membership of IOSH (GradIOSH). With continuing professional development (CPD) you can then become a chartered safety and health practitioner as a chartered member of IOSH (CMIOSH). It also allows you to use the letters 'IDipNEBOSH' after your name.
Previous health and safety qualifications, such as a NEBOSH Certificate, are strongly recommended before embarking on the NEBOSH Diploma course.

The NEBOSH International Diploma course is split into four units of study, each of which is assessed separately:
Includes: Principles of Health and Safety Management, Loss Causation and Incident Investigation, Identifying Hazards, Assessing and Evaluating Risks, Risk Control and Emergency Planning, Organisational and Human Factors, Regulating Health and Safety, Measuring Health and Safety Performance.
Includes: General Aspects of Occupational Health and Hygiene, Principles of Toxicology and Epidemiology, Hazardous Substances - Evaluating Risk, Preventive and Protective Measures and Monitoring and Maintenance of Control Measures, Biological Agents, Physical Agents - Noise and Vibration and Radiation and Thermal Environment, Hazardous Substances - Preventive and Protective Measures, Ergonomic Factors.
Includes: General Workplace Issues, Principles of Fire and Explosion, Workplace Fire Risk Assessment, Storage, Handling and Processing of Dangerous Substances, Work Equipment, Machinery Safety, Mechanical Handling, Electrical Safety, Safety in Construction and Demolition, Environmental Pollution and Waste Management.
This course is a combination of e-learning modules with 15 Days in a classroom environment.
Units IA, IB and IC of the NEBOSH International Diploma are each assessed via one three-hour written examination. Exams are held each January and July.
Unit ID is assessed via a written assignment of approximately 8,000 words.Top +
